Because Cookify functions entirely as a web-based utility toolkit, we operate under a strict "Zero-Persistence" infrastructure. We do not require account creation, and we never collect, store, or profile your personal files.
1. GDPR Privacy Rights (For EEA Users)
If you are located within the European Economic Area, you hold specific rights regarding any temporary metadata collected during your session (such as server logs or necessary operational cookies):
- Right to Rectification & Erasure: Since we do not host user accounts or save uploaded images, there is no permanent data stored to rectify or erase. Files are instantly purged from our RAM post-session.
- Right to Object & Restrict Processing: You have the right to limit how temporary diagnostic data is used.
- Right to Data Portability: Since we do not possess profiles or databases of your personal information, data portability is not applicable to our service.
2. CCPA Privacy Rights (For California Residents)
The California Consumer Privacy Act grants California residents specific rights regarding personal data. Under CCPA, Cookify explicitly states the following:
- Right to Know / Access: You have the right to request what personal information a business collects. Cookify does not gather consumer identifiers, commercial profiles, or biometric data.
- Right to Delete: All files uploaded for conversion are deleted immediately and automatically upon conversion completion.
- "Do Not Sell My Personal Information": Cookify never sells, rents, or trades user data or media to third parties. We do not participate in any data brokering activities.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We provide identical high-speed tools and services to all users, regardless of whether they exercise their privacy choices.
3. Third-Party Advertising & Cookies
We use third-party advertising partners (such as Google AdSense) to keep our tools free. These partners may utilize essential tracking identifiers or cookies to customize ads based on your general browsing patterns. You can manage these choices at any time through our cookie consent banner or by adjusting your web browser settings.
4. Technical Log Data
For security, abuse prevention, and load balancing, our servers temporarily register basic network logs (IP addresses and browser types). This log data is stripped of personal identifiers and is completely cleared on a routine daily schedule.
